Main Theme: Carrie's Contemplations from Orff Schulwerk Level II

In this episode, Tanya asks Carrie about her experience taking Orff Schulwerk Level II this past summer. We talk about how Orff II differs from Orff I and tackle the big issue of how Orff and Kodály can overlap and compliment each other.

Carrie talks about the importance of taking the time to tighten up routines and procedures that may not be going well. Now is the time to revamp anything that's not working in your class - don't be tempted to let things go because it will only get worse. Here are some ideas from the book Teach Like a Champion 3.0 by Doug Lemov of ways to change up routines that just aren't quite right.
